Collage Theme Selection

In this assignment, you will choose the theme that you want to explore in your next mixed media collage project.

There are 2 options:

Option 1: Memory

• You can illustrate a specific memory or choose to interpret the theme in general.  How do people remember things?  What do memories look like?  How does memory/forgetting affect us?

Option 2: Surrealist Landscape

• Surrealism: Twentieth-century art movement in which dreams, fantasy, and the subconscious served as inspiration for artists.
• Create a landscape that combines unusual elements inspired by dreams.

Choose the option that you would like to do for your project in the quiz questions.  Make sure you answer both questions.  Don't worry about the points - the grade doesn't count... just choose one topic and select "other" as the answer to the other question.
