Grading Procedure & Expectations

• Grade Categories:  Participation (Performance task), and Assessments
• Grade Breakdown/Calculations:  50% Participation,  50% Assessments
• More about Participation grade: This will be a weekly grade. Each day your child will be expected to be in class & be an active participant. If child is not in class or does not have good effort, he or she may lose 5-20 points per day of class.
• More about Assessment grade: There will be 1-2 graded assessments per 9 weeks. Examples of graded assignments are reflections, Health Quizzes done on Quizizz or Kahoot, and or FitnessGram testing. 
• Updates & PowerSchool:  Grades will be updated usually on a daily basis. Please check powerschool for updated grade for your child. 
• Miscellaneous Information: I understand & sympathize with unique and difficult situations with this virtual learning environment. If your child is not able to access Zoom b/c of internet issues, wifi problems, or any unique problem, please let me know. I will ALWAYS work with your child and you to try to get them to be successful in this class. I ask that your child always tries to help me help them!!
