Unit 3.5 Antebellum pt 1

With the end of the American Revolution and the adoption of the Constitution, the United States was now established as a new nation. The Antebellum Era is defined as the period in American history from the 1780s up to the beginning of the Civil War in 1861. During this period, America went through many changes as the country experienced growth in different ways. Unit 3.5 will take a look at events that occurred during President Washington's Administration as the first Presidency.

Essential Question: Does the system of checks and balances provide us with an effective and efficient government? Do separation of powers and checks and balances make our government work too slowly?
