NC H.2.1 Explain the impact of economic, political, social, and military conflicts (e.g. war, slavery, states’ rights and citizenship and immigration policies) on the development of North Carolina and the United States.  

NC 8.G.1.2 Understand the human and physical characteristics of regions in North Carolina and the United States (e.g. physical features, culture, political organization and ethnic make-up) 

8.C.1.3 Summarize the contributions of particular groups to the development of North Carolina and the United States.

You are going to be each assigned a Colony located in New England, the Middle, or the Southern Colonies. Your job is to create a Google Slide presentation with a minimum of ten slides identifying the following information about your colony:

*When your colony was founded

*Who founded your colony and where did its first settlers come from

*What were the prominent religions in your colony

*What Native American tribes lived in your colony

* The geography of the colony (including a map) using written descriptions and images

*How did the people of your colony make money? (Were they farmers, did they have industry, trade, etc.)

Your presentation must:

Be colorful (It needs to look nice!)

Have a minimum of 6 images including a map of your colony

Must include a works cited/resources/bibliography page at the end!!!!
