Course Syllabus
This course is designed to meet North Carolina's 8th grade history requirement. Through this course you will cover Colonial America to present day. While American History is the key topic, we will view History through the lens of North Carolina.
Grading
Tests - 20%
Projects - 20% (There will be several projects throughout the course Individual, Partner, & group. All projects will require research, citation, & creation)
Quizzes - 10% (online quiz on Canvas or in class Paper and Pencil)
Classwork - 50%
Homework - We do not use a seprate weight for homework, It is expected that any class assignment is to be complete prior to the next class meeting (All assignments can be accessed from Canvas on any device connected to the internet)
