America: The Story of US is a documentary series produced by the History Channel that tells the story of America's history over the course of 400 years. As part of this assignment, you will watch the third episode, "Westward." This segment is a good introduction to the topics discussed in our new unit. You will learn general details about the change and growth experienced by the United States in the early 1800s, and you will be exposed to the many difficulties involved in moving westward.
