- How can we interpret the growth of Cities from reading the Jungle?
- How did immigrants play a role in society? What were their working conditions/ living conditions like?
- What were some of the conditions workers faced in the meatpacking industry?
- How can we interpret those conditions experienced there to represent other industries? What industries might have similar working conditions?
- Child labor was still a thing, How did children perform in these environments? Is there a law in place that prevent this from happening today?
