* It set the Supreme Court on equal level with the other branches of government  & they have the final say on constitutionality of legislation.

What does this mean for our young Nation (Who is gaining the Power)?

* The Supreme Court may have lost some power when they ruled the Judiciary act of 1789 unconstitutional, but they gained power with Judicial Review and checking all legislation for constitutionality.
