Culture Masks-2
Masks
We all see the world differently, and the world sees us through choices we make.
Some of those choices are as simple as the clothes we wear, the attitude we have, our favorite sports teams, television shows, music we listen to, books we read, people we are friends with or date. Other things that define us are things that are out of our control. I can't change the color of my eyes, skin, my gender, where I came from, and what makes me me.
We often put on a front or a mask that we want the world to see, and hide who we really are. We do this for different reasons. Some want to fit in with the crowd we want to hang with, to join a group (club, sport, or academic), others want to escape into a world they feel they don't belong but want to be part of; while others just want that sens of belonging.
I challenge you to complete these next three tasks.
1.) Self Reflection Challenge
2.) Discussion Post Masks we wear
3.) The mask project
