Financial Friday 

Excise Tax-  tax on specific goods or services at purchase such as fuel, tobacco, and alcohol primarily for businesses. Consumers may or may not see the cost of excise taxes directly and are usually applied to item luxury/heavy consumption items.   

After thinking about this, How do excise taxes hurt the consumer and economy?  Who should pay the excise tax; the business or the individual?  Explain the positive and negative for both sides.
