Plantations are basically large farms which produce cash crops or live stock for profit.   

Historically the three largest cash crops have been tobacco, cotton, and sugar.   If you had a plantation which one of these would you have chosen.  Then write about how you choice affected the world. And analyze the uses for your crop by society.
