Journal Prompt 10/29

With the official recreation of the United States in 1783, the 13 colonies agreed they did not want a king and want to each maintain their individuality.  The different governors wanted to have a Congress and nothing else.   In your opinion, do you think the United States should have created a new king to run the country.  Brainstorm any problems which could happen allowing a group to run a country instead of a single person.
