Journal Prompt 10/14

The Americans are actually British subjects and not full citizens of the British kingdom.   Individuals who wanted an independent nation called themselves Patriots.   Patriots are people who show pride in their country.   Loyalist, were people who liked having the connection to Britain and wanted to keep it that way.   Discussion of rebellion could be met with imprisonment, persecution (people hating you), or execution for treason(betrayal of one's country).     Would you be willing to protest and rebel for a righteous cause or not participate due to fear of the consequences? Explain your response as a Patriot or a Loyalist.
