Digital Citizenship

Learning Goals:

Teachers will model and teach Digital Citizenship by the ethical, respectful, and safe use of digital tools and resources that support the creation of a positive digital school culture.

By the end of this module you will:

1. Demonstrate understanding of intellectual properties for presentations, publications, and resources used by or with students.
2. Teach students intellectual property lessons on copyright and fair use guidelines.
3. Model and teach digital citizenship best practices within the classroom.
4. Provide opportunities for students to increase global awareness through researching and engaging with other cultures via various communication and collaboration tools.
5. Design content and resources to provide each student with the appropriate educational services to meet his/her individual learning needs.
