Taking important information from your report, create a 6 slide PowerPoint complete with pictures, clip art, colors, transitions, animations, etc that will make your slide show visually appealing.

Create a PowerPoint Slide Show of at least 6 slides to illustrate your report.

Read all of the instructions before you begin.

Step 1: Open Microsoft PowerPoint and create a new presentation.

Step 2: Choose a design for your presentation.

Step 3: Create a Title Slide. Include the name of your Emerging Technology, your name, block and date. Choose an animation for the text on your title slide.

Step 4: Create the remaining slides for each section of your paper or outline (Who, What, Where, etc). Include at least two bullet points (bits of information) for each slide. Keep this information short, PowerPoints don't usually include detailed information.

Step 5: Create a folder in your U: drive or My Documents titled Emerging Tech Pics. Go to Google or Bing and find 6 pictures that help illustrate your emerging technology.  Save these picture into the folder you just created.  We will use these pictures for another assignment.

Step 6: Be sure to include pictures, graphics, animations, etc (one picture or graphic per slide). Make sure you include transitions from one slide to the next.

Step 7: Save your PowerPoint as your name, block, topic to your computer and submit to Canvas.

Grading Rubric

  1. Correct title slide-20 points
  2. Correct number of slides (6)-20 points
  3. One graphic per slide(6)-20 points
  4. Two bullet points per slide(12)-20 points
  5. Transition between each slide-10 points
  6. Design-10 points

     Total-100 points
